This year, the Sacramento Regional Coalition to End Homelessness, Sacramento Poor People’s Campaign, and the Black Hair and Hygiene Project are co-sponsoring the 13th Annual Memorial and Candlelight Vigil for Our Unhoused Neighbors. We hope you will join us on December 21st, from 5pm-6:30pm, at Cesar Chavez Plaza. Included is a flyer, including a printable version. If you work with people who live outside, we’d especially appreciate if you’d share the event with them.
We will share a meal, hear from community leaders within the homeless community and their allies, and honor those we’ve lost through a reading of their names. We also understand it as time to recommit in the new year toward uplifting the quality of life for those still with us.
We hope to see you there!
Sincerely,
SRCEH
