Denver, CO. City Commits to Extending Hotels for 10 Displaced Quality Folk Long Term – likely until Housing is Secured!!

After continuing to press that HOST extend the hotel stays of the displaced Quality Inn residents we have been helping to pay for in hotels, HOST has agreed to do this! The City will pay extended stays at hotels for the 10 people we have been supporting long term – likely until they secure housing!! We will continue to work with these residents to ensure this extension is truly until they get the housing they need. We and these residents are extremely glad and grateful for this additional time paid for at the hotel so none of these folks land on the streets! 

Together with The Reciprocity Collective, we are continuing to work with these folks on the housing search and continue to appreciate any leads on low-income/cheep housing options.

None of this would be possible had the broader community not stepped up and spoken out against the treatment of the hotel residents! And none of this would be possible had Quality residents not spoken up for themselves and their community!
