Denver, CO. City Responds by Paying for Two More Weeks for these 10 Displaced Quality Folk 

Yesterday morning we received a call that the City will pay for two more weeks at the motels for the 10 displaced Quality residents we have been paying for at hotels. We and these residents are glad and grateful for this additional time paid for at the hotel! 

While these displaced folks, and us in HAND together with The Reciprocity Collective, are working like hell to find housing for them, it is not likely that we will secure housing for all of them in 2 weeks. We will need to go back to the City again as we approach that time to continue to ensure safe hotel stays for these folks until housing is secured. 

None of this would be possible had our concerned community not stepped up and spoken out against the treatment of the hotel residents. The fight continues!
