Last night dozens of residents of the Quality Inn hotel facing being kicked to the shelters or streets September 16th spoke up to City Council and to the press demanding housing!@# All residents of this hotel are there because of severe health problems, and now they are told to go stay at a mass congregate shelter. This is not an option. Residents NEED housing or they may die this winter.
