Denver, CO. Letter re Street Terrorization Release Monday March 2nd

Dear Fighters for Human Rights and Dignity!

Thank you all so much for signing on the letter to the Mayor calling for an end to the terrorization of houseless people on our streets! I know it has been a while since we first reached out to yall about this! Things can get a little busy sometimes…so the release of this letter got staled…!

We are planning to send this letter to the Mayor on March 2nd. In conjunction with sending the letter, we will be delivering the letter to the Mayor’s office that day and than speaking at City Council public comment about this inhumanity. We would love for you and others from your organization to be part of this! A big point of this release is to show the number of organizations who disagree with the enforcement going on against the houseless community.

The plan:
Meet in front of City Hall (1437 Bannock) at 3:30pm
Deliver Letter to Mayor, read quotes, additional speakers in City Hall 3rd floor at 4pm
City Council Public Comment at 5pm

Please let me know if you or someone from your organization can make it! Also let me know if you would like to be signed up to speak at City Council – we will have quotes from houseless people suffering from this street terrorization which can be read.

Ways you can play a critical part in this if you come…
-Holding signs
-Reading quotes from houseless people
-Naming your organization as against this shit
-Being present!

If you cannot make it, or even if you can, it would be awesome if you can post about this letter release on your organizations social media! I will send out the flyer to post in a couple days.
