The Los Angeles Community Action Network, on behalf of unhoused people and everyone in Los Angeles who values democracy and good government, filed a lawsuit accusing the City Council of violating the Brown Act when it excluded the public from meetings in which it made policy decision related to how the city treats unhoused people, including agreeing to implement a plan to remove and destroy thousands of encampments.
