The state legislature has been giving a green light to this awful, dangerous bill, AB630, that will take money from much needed services and put it towards towing and destroying RV’s and vehicles people live in, almost always causing street homelessness for those individuals and families. Also, if you are in or near Sacramento, consider attending the Senate Public Safety Committee hearing on Tuesday, the 24th to show strong opposition to the bill in person. With all the attacks from those with power, wealth, and authority, it is more than ever the time for allies, marginally housed, and unhoused people to come together to fight for each other and against these unjust anti-homeless laws. These laws push unhoused people further into public health crises and we need REAL solutions, not targeting, removal, and criminalization.
