Lynn interviews nine women, including WRAP leader and board member Terese Howard, who have dedicated their lives to the struggle for social justice and who offer deeply personal stories and a ground level view into current day people’s movements as well as historic moments
Terese Howard of Housekeys Action Network Denver shares contemporary movement history of homeless organizing in Denver – as well as her own life journey bringing her to this work. As someone who actively participated in shaping that history, these lessons would be lost without her powerful witness. Organizing among houseless folks is often not even on the radar of the broader movement landscape in this country but is more necessary than ever. Her analysis of the necessity for organizing to be accountable to the street is beyond inspirational. It is essential reading for anyone working to end homelessness.
