The residents of the West Oakland Wood st community have not received
any new information from the City of Oakland. At the same time the owner
has not returned to notify resisting tentants of the Wood st lot of
their intentions. Residents are planning to again submit their letter of
demands and are inviting supporters to join them in the struggle.
We plan to rally on December 19th at 6pm with residents as they deliver
their list of demands to an Oakland City Official.
Due to the nature of this actions, we are not releasing the location as
it is an address of a residence. Supporters are invited to reach out for

There is a community cookout this Wednesday, December 11th at 7pm.
We will meet at 24th and Wood st. This will be a great opportunity to learn
about the upcoming action on the 19h and the struggle against
gentrification on Wood st.
On another subject, as the wet season hit the area there is a fundraiser
to buy tarps and other materials in order to weatherize residents
shelters.
