Community at Arkins Court Swept Thursday, Continue to be Scattered and Threatened

On Thursday, 11/7/19, the community of about 20 people staying on Arkins court was swept “away.” Many of those staying there moved just down the street and were facing threats of tickets by the park ranger the next day.

Two of the folks we spoke with the next day have health issues making it very hard for them to pack and move all their stuff. One man was very elderly and frail. This did not stop park rangers from threatening them with tickets if their do not “move along” again, and again…
