Development Coordinator Job Announcement
The Western Regional Advocacy Project (WRAP) was founded in 2005 by local social justice organizations across the West to bring about real systemic change. We are building a multi-issue, multi-racial and social justice-based coalition which brings organizations together across the local–national divide, thus giving us the strength and experience to make ending poverty and homelessness a national priority.

WRAP is hiring a full-time Development Coordinator with at least 2 years of non-profit fundraising management experience. WRAP supports our core members, allies, and others by providing organizing tools and research for each to use in their campaigns fighting the criminalization of houselessness and for affordable housing. We are helping to build a regional /national movement together and strengthen connections of WRAP’s priorities with broader anti-racism, classism, neo-liberal capitalism, and criminalization campaigns. WRAP always takes its lead from our core member groups, who are accountable to their base of houseless community members.
Our work plans are based on what our core members say is needed and our fundraising is based on these priorities. Our donors – and all those we connect with on social media and through our newsletters are part of the power we are building to end criminalization and fight for the human right to housing.
This position is full-time (40hrs/week) and will manage foundation and individual donor relationships and campaigns, including the annual development plan and calendar, campaign timelines, foundation applications, and reports, and building a stronger base of donors that support and understand our work. Per WRAP’s equitable pay policy, for all staff, the salary is $60,000/annually with paid time off (vacation and sick combined), holidays, and health and dental benefits.
Our preference is this position will be located in the Bay Area of California (Oakland or San Francisco) or other WRAP core member-based City (LA, Sacramento, Denver, or Portland). Other locations will be considered on case by case basis. The main WRAP office is located in San Francisco.
The main responsibility of this position is to partner with other WRAP staff to create and lead an annual fundraising plan and timeline that ensures WRAP has the resources to meet our budget and do our radical work.
