Huge appreciation to everyone who poured out love for our community through your strong advocacy against the Sit/Lie Ban expansion at City Hall. Thanks to your efforts, three council members opposed the ordinance and the Mayor was put on the defensive and will have to bring a much stronger argument than the original staff report provided.
If you are in Mai Vang (D8), Caity Maple (D5), or Lisa Kaplans’ (D1) districts, take a moment to thank them for their strong stance, and encourage their continued opposition to the ban whenever it is brought back.
We originally heard that it would be brought back for full discussion on the 22nd, but it has been postponed, tentatively, to the 29th at 5pm.
