In case you hadn’t heard, a Knock LA report revealed some audio of City Council president Nury Martinez, council members Gil Cedillo Kevin de Leon, and others using racial and homophobic slurs. All three have used their policy in the past to express the views we finally heard voiced aloud in these recordings. Enough!
This e-mail blast is to pass along info that there will be a press conference tomorrow morning at 8 AM outside City Hall, leading to public comment inside the building afterward.
WE CALL FOR THE IMMEDIATE RESIGNATION OF NURY MARTINEZ, GIL CEDILLO AND KEVIN DE LEON. IT IS NOT ENOUGH FOR NURY MARTINEZ TO STEP DOWN FROM HER ROLE AS PRESIDENT OF CITY COUNCIL, ALL 3 MUST RESIGN TOMORROW.
The City Hall entrance is at 200 N. Main St.
