THREE sweeps are scheduled for next week. The City is clearly trying to get as many sweeps as possible in before our lawsuit hearing the following week.
13th and Elati is also posted for a sweep next Tuesday, December 8th. This camp has roughly 50 people and is about half made up of people who moved there from the downtown library sweep a couple weeks ago.
21st,20th, Market, Blake and Wazee from 22nd to Park Ave is scheduled for Wednesday, December 9th. This encampment made up of people who were swept from 22nd and Wazze a couple weeks ago and from Arkins this week. Now the City plans to sweep them again…to some other block to be swept again…
7th and Lincoln is scheduled for a sweep on Thursday December 10th. This encampment moved one block from the other side of 7 news a few weeks ago after a sweep.
Please come and support our unhoused community members at 13th and Elati on Tuesday, 21st and Market and Blake on Wednesday, and 7th and Lincoln on Thursday as they demand real housing or places where they are allowed to survive.
Bring the following things to assist residents:
-Truck, or any vehicle to help move
-Carts
-Bungee Cords
-Rope
-Trash Bags
-Food
-Coffee/CoCo
-Water
Your assistance is much appreciated! Somewhere around 6:30am and all morning help will likely be needed.
