Los Angeles, CA. SERVICES NOT SWEEPS: *TODAY’S BUDGET HEARINGS RESCHEDULED TO 1PM!

May 16, 2019 by Jonathan Leave a Comment

Please be advised! TODAY’S budget hearings have been rescheduled to 1pm in room 340 at city hall. Please try to show up to the hall outside room 340 no later than 12:30pm to huddle up and sign up for public comment!

ALSO: LA Times has reported that the LAHSA homeless count will be released on Friday May 31. We need to hold a meeting before then to plan an action (or actions?) and press conference that week.

We’d like to hold this meeting next Thursday, May 23 at 630pm at LA CAN.

Hope to see some of you at city hall!

Power+Love+Solidarity,

Services not Sweeps budget hearing flyer

They say “the revolution will not be funded.” And it’s true. Those in power currently rely on vast amounts of money to orchestrate their influence. We are organizing more and more PEOPLE into this movement to bring down systemic oppression and build a more just society. We are inherently PEOPLE-POWERED.
